These paintings are from unknown artists, painted during the nineteenth or early twentieth century. They came to the United States from South America probably Ecuador. The frames that are shown were created by Louis Mideros, "Victor Mideros' brother", in Quito Ecuador. Some of the paintings may have come from Europe to Ecuador prior to World War II. A couple of the paintings are similar to the style of Ecuadorian painter Atribuido a Juan Manosalvas.
I am offering a reward, of a bottle of California wine, for information leading to the identification of any of the paintings on the following pages. I can be reached at email.
